Aquatera Releases 2011 Annual Report

Grande Prairie, AB – It was a year of many changes for Aquatera in 2011, which are detailed in the company’s Annual Report released today.

The report highlights such areas as the introduction of curbside recycling and Styrofoam recycling, increased dividends for shareholders, and a measured increase in overall customer satisfaction.

Aquatera took large steps throughout 2011, including creation of a distinct corporate identity through development of a head office, branding, and new programs such as curbside recycling. The company started being led by a fully public Board of Directors in June, who oversee the performance of the shareholder-owned utility. Aquatera also entered into two major sponsorships with Nitehawk Recreation Area and the Eastlink Centre.

The report also provides audited financial statements and measurement against the company’s principles. In financial highlights, $3.5 million was provided in dividends to shareholders in 2011, an improved return compared to the past few years.
