Consumer Warning for Aquatera Customers

Grande Prairie, AB – Aquatera is asking customers in Grande Prairie and Sexsmith to be on the lookout for a company going door to door selling reverse osmosis water treatment systems.

The company is placing “Home Water Testing Kits” on the front doors asking residents to fill a small bottle for testing. Aquatera is not affiliated in any way with this company, Home Water Systems Inc.  Home Water Systems as of Tuesday July 10 does not have a business license to operate in the city of Grande Prairie.

Aquatera would like to remind our customers that we have some of the highest quality tap-water in Western Canada. Of note is the fact that reverse osmosis-systems will remove many healthy minerals that the human body needs from water. Aquatera tap water not only meets stringent Alberta Environment standards, but we do many tests above the operations approval to ensure our water is of the highest quality.
