Fluorescent Light Bulbs and Tubes

Used fluorescent bulb should be repackaged into the original cartons whenever possible

  • do not tape bulbs together if contained in a box
  • original packing inserts should be removed (can be recycled as cardboard)
  • do not mix different lengths of bulbs together - only one length per box

2' to 8' fluorescent tubes may be taped together into bundles of 6 (or less) if no box is available

  • use ELECTRICAL TAPE ONLY - no other type of tape should be used (eg. packing tape, duct tape, hockey stick tape, masking tape - these type of tape pull out pieces of the glass when it is removed)

BROKEN BULBS ARE NOT ACCEPTED - CARTONS/BUNDLES CONTAINING ANY BROKEN BULBS WILL BE REFUSED
