Current disposal fees are:
Source separated material that is not contaminated with any other products will be charged at $89/tonne (minimum charge $10). (This includes clean dimensional lumber, gypsum (drywall), and clean concrete without rebar or other materials as reasonably determined by Aquatera).
White Goods and Large Metal Objects: $44.50/tonne (minimum charge $10) (appliances, baleable light gauge metal, wire rope cut into 5 foot lengths)
Highway tires and off-road/oversized tires: $44.50/tonne (minimum charge $10)
Normal Refuse- Waste Transfer Station Disposal: $120/tonne (minimum charge $10)
Construction and demolition debris - Active Face Disposal: $89/tonne (minimum charge $10)
Special handling: $178/tonne - (minimum charge $20) Special handling includes large concrete or wooden objects, loads containing grass clippings, yard leaves or recyclable corrugated cardboard and any other material deemed difficult to handle by Aquatera staff.
Where special disposal is required for environmental or other reasons, Aquatera reserves the right to designate charges based on equipment and hours required.
Refrigeration and air conditioning equipment: $20/unit
Animal carcasses: $89/tonne (minimum charge: small animal $10, large animal $15)
Asbestos waste: $220/tonne (minimum charge $50)

Specified Risk Material (livestock): $89/tonne

Landfill does not accept:
- Liquids or paint
- Hazardous, reactive or flammable waste
- Hot loads
- Gas tanks
- Car bodies
- Brake pods that have not been decommissioned
- Ballasts containing PCBs
- Propane bottles larger than 20kgs that have not been decommissioned
Landfill segregate and reuse/recycle:
- Vehicle batteries
- Propane tanks
- Electronic waste
- Metal and appliances (including heavy gauge, chain link fence, and metal banding)
- Clean wood
- Junk cement
You can also drop off your refundable deposits for the Bottle Donation Program and there is a “Recycle Centre” where gently used items can be dropped off for other to take (April through October).
