Christmas Trees

Aquatera collects Christmas trees at the curb for all customers who have an Aquatera garbage cart in Grande Prairie. Those without curbside collection can bring their trees to our Landfill for no charge.  Also the Eco Centre will have a bin for trees from December 27 - January 31.

The 2013 annual tree collection will take place Monday, January 14 and continue to Friday, January 25. Place your tree one metre from your garbage cart on your regular collection day. It will be collected by a separate vehicle.

The trees are mulched and used at our landfill.

To ensure your tree is collected curbside:

• limit of two trees per household
• trees should not be taller than eight feet or 2.4 metres (trees longer than eight feet or 2.4 metres can be cut in half)
• only includes live trees not artificial Christmas trees
• ensure that all Christmas decorations and tinsel are removed
