Aquatera is committed to improving the quality of life in the Grande Prairie region by providing you with clean, safe, drinking (potable) water.

Aquatera owns and operates water treatment and transmission systems, and water distribution mains and structures in the City of Grande Prairie, Town of Sexsmith and areas within the County of Grande Prairie.

New technology will allow us to meet the increasing standards for water quality.  Part of our commitment is to ensure that there’s enough of this precious resource for future generations.

Aquatera's Water Source - The Wapiti River

Aquatera's water source is the Wapiti River, shown above. The Wapiti River stretches from Wapiti Lake in the British Columbia Rockies to past Grande Prairie. If we could put a photo of the mountains on our water, we would, as that is where it comes from!
