MEDIA RELEASE

Donation Centre for Fort McMurray Fire

May 4, 2016

GRANDE PRAIRIE – In an effort to provide support and comfort to evacuees of the Fort McMurray fire, Aquatera will be setting up a donation center in the corporate office parking lot tomorrow.

An 18 x 16 foot trailer, generously donated by Fosters Wagons, will be set up at 11101-104 Avenue from 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

All donations will be taken to the relief centre at Haningstone Campground (just off Highway 63 on the 881), who are running out of supplies for evacuees of the Fort McMurray fire.

Aquatera staff will be collecting water, non-perishable foods, new toiletries, dog food, diapers, formula, new socks and underwear. The items will be delivered on Friday.

The public is asked not to bring used items at this time, as the relief centers have emphasized the above necessities first and foremost.
