Lionel joined the Board of Directors in June 2018 and was appointed Board Chair January 1, 2023. Along with being Board Chair, Lionel is Ex-Officio and sits on the Audit and Risk Committee, Human Resources Committee and Governance and Environment Committee.
Lionel is the Commercial TD Business Bank District Vice President of the Peace Country Commercial Banking Centre, in addition to being a local Director and member of the Institute for Corporate Directors. He has an extensive banking background which includes oversight of North-Eastern BC and Northwestern Alberta in both the commercial and agricultural segments. He provides leadership to a professional banking team located in both rural and urban markets and has varied experience in financial risk governance.
