Barbara joined the Board of Directors in June 2021 and was appointed Vice Board Chair in 2022. Along with being Vice Board Chair, Barbara is Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee.

Barbara is a designated accountant with over 30 years’ experience in financial, operational and strategic leadership, including 10 years in executive roles with both public and private companies. She has a breadth of knowledge and experience, both locally and internationally, gained through a career that has spanned electricity, oil and gas and consumer goods.

Currently, Barbara is the Chief Operating Officer of Eau Claire Distillery Ltd., Alberta’s first craft distillery. She serves on the boards of several non-profit organizations and is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors.
